We have had a very sad month at Wapentac. Tilly our great motivator was diagnosed terminally ill and we lost her a couple of weeks ago. Our adventures aren't quite the same without her, but we think her spirit is running free.

Wapentac took part in the Peak District Artisan Show at Haddon Hall in April. We had a stand in the Dining Room, a fabulous atmospheric oak lined room. Haddon Hall is well worth visiting.
Our new Botanical Illustrations proved popular, so we will be looking at building on the variety of plant species.

The 'April Special Offer' : a free Lathkill Dale Wapenmap with every order, also proved very popular, so we will be repeating offers in the future. So keep an eye out!

March News

Wapentac took part in the Galvanize Metal Market at the Millennium Gallery, Sheffield. We had a great day. Our most popular Wapenmap for the day was Mam Tor. It was also our first public outing of our Botanical Illustrations, and we received a great response to these. The Galvanize Festival of Contemporary Metalwork is on until the 24 April, so it is worth trying to see some of the other events.

We have 4 types of flora in our Botanical Illustration range. Cosmea (Cosmos),
'Star of the Veldt' (Dimorphotheca), Barrenwort (Epmedium) and Flax (Linum). Each plant is an exquisitely detailed three dimensional floral drawing mounted on parchment paper and framed in a black box frame. So no work is required from you here! To find out more visit our Botanical Illustrations
