Loch Broom Commission and Feedback
'Your parcel arrived safely yesterday and I can honestly say that Malcolm was completely surprised and delighted by your fantastic piece.  It is a beautifully made and interesting relief map, and we're going to hang it in our kitchen where it can be admired by everybody.  I'm so glad I just happened to be watching Countryfile that Sunday just before Christmas - sadly your piece has set a very high standard for all future Christmas presents!' Wapentac featured on BBC Countryfile on 13 December 2015.
The program was all about the Peak District.

The filming was a fabulous experience 7am-7pm with an enthusiastic film crew.
And the response was out of this world......in the 2 weeks leading up to Christmas!

Wapenmaps are wonderful reminders of romantic events in special places. A few examples :
A father bought a Coniston Wapenmap to congratuale his daughter and new son in law to be after they got engaged on top of Coniston.
Another couple bought an Hellvelyn Wapenmap to mark their 1st wedding anniversary, as they had got engaged on a mountain too.
A woman chose one of the hand painted Malham Tarn & Malham Cove Wapenmaps, as she had met her husband-to-be climbing at Malham Cove. She planned to put the Malham Cove Wapenmap on his pillow the night before they got married!

CMR rescued my husband Paul on 14 February 2012.  Here is a link to Coniston Mountain Rescue to see some of the wonderful work they do.
The other wonderful news is Paul is now a full member for Woodhead Mountain Rescue team, so I am extremely proud of him.
